BISHOP SAND is intrigued by the idea that people actively create the visual scene in front of them based on a few bits of information. Hence, even though he was born in Wichita, Kansas in 1983, he currently resides in Brooklyn, NYC. He likes to abstract from nature and attempt to distill the shapes that attract us the most. He has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master's in Science Education from City College/C.U.N.Y. |
